Reviews and Ratings
I absolutely loved my stay at the hotel! The rooms are just perfect - sympathetically refurbished, spacious, and beautifully accessorized. I found the bed very comfortable, and the shower was excellent. The layout of the room was very large, with a main room featuring a king bed and a separate bedroom with another double bed. I appreciated having not only the sleeping area but also a small sitting room, perfect for visiting and reading.
Staying at the Jamestown Hotel was a real treat! The rooms were fantastic with a super-comfortable bed, quiet A/C, uncrowded, and a lovely sitting area for relaxation. However, the extractor fan for the kitchen was a bit bothersome in the evening. The hotel's location in downtown Jamestown is perfect for exploring the area attractions, and it's especially convenient for visiting the Railtown Museum and Columbia State Historical Park. The morning dining experience was immense, offering excellent value right in the hotel. Overall, a great stay with some minor quirks.
I stayed in the Lotta Crabtree room, and let me tell you, it was just great and spotlessly clean. The beds were super comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep. The location was literally in the middle of everything in this charming town, making it ideal for exploring the area's attractions like Columbia State Park, Lake Melones, and the Rail Museum state park. The dining experience, while freshly cooked and a good value, could be improved as the service was a bit slow. Overall, a convenient and interesting place to visit with some room for enhancement.
